1st Africa Rover Moot
The 1st Africa Rover Moot equates Innovation and creativity to Rover Scouts as what swimming is to a fish. To paddle their canoes through the water tides, the Moot participants are called upon to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to the current challenges facing the youth and the community at large. They are called upon to take a lead and make every move they make in life count as they seek to better themselves and those around them.
The first-ever Africa Rover Moot event for Rover Scouts will be held from 15th to 25th April 2023 at the Rowallan National Scouts Camp in Nairobi, Kenya.
The event slogan “let’s go” is a call for all the 1st Africa Rover Moot participants to take on the journey and be part of the adventures and discoveries the programme will offer.
Participation in the event is open to young people aged between 18-26 years. and an International Service Team made up of adult volunteers aged over 26 years.

This should not be difficult for us, considering that the Kenya Scouts Association is the largest scouts organisation in Africa and sixth largest globally, with over 2.1 million young people who are members
Participants will learn from each other, share ideas, do community service and come up with innovative solutions for the challenges that youths and their communities face.
The African story is a promising one. We are certain that the Rover Scouts will be the new lenses that the world will use to look at Africa and its youthful population
